Once the ties have been severed, things won’t ever be the same again. The people you once found yourself to be comfortable around become those who you’re not sure if you can say hi to them or not. Silences become awkward and time seems to tick by too slowly while trying to figure out what to say. You could attempt to reattach the strings together but it just falls apart easier and quicker than last time. Before you walk out of someone’s life think about if you’ll regret it later in the future. And before someone walks out of your life, decide whether or not that person is worth fighting for.
